I'm Emma : )
I was born in Sweden and was reborn, by the Grace of God, in Athens, GA. I appreciate animals, yoga, good food, running, water, feathers and rain. I've been all over the world. One of my new-Life resolutions is to retrace my international steps, and to go back to all of the countries I've visited. Only, this time, I want a camera and a deeper perspective and appreciation for humanity.
When a man asked Jesus what the greatest command was, Jesus said,
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, and with all your mind.
This is the greatest and most important command.
The second is like it:
Love your neighbour as yourself.
All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands."
I am determined to obey these commands. The more I learn about God, through his Word and through creation, the more I love him. Which, in turn, helps me to love others more deeply.
I believe in reciprocal evolution, as well as altruism. I believe that if we Laugh with one another, Learn from one another, and Live with one another, that we will be fully prepared to sustain a beautiful relationship.
If we can Laugh, we can inversely Cry. We can shoulder burdens together and we can be a safe and trustworthy ally, always. If we are humble and can genuinely Learn from those we love, we can Teach. And if we can Live with, and ultimately for one another, we can grow to deny ourselves physically, spiritually, emotionally, and Die for one another.
Sounds like Love to me!
